America should vote for the Republican candidate Donald Trump for president. Trump doesn’t want common core because he thinks it’s pointless. Donald Trump wants to take $31 million of the tax rolls and he wants to bring back the coal mines, so people can have their jobs back. He also wants to keep the guns, so everyone has some form of self-defense.
Donald Trump should be president of the United States because he says he wants to “Make America Great Again”. According to a Newsela article, “Trump's campaign has said the concerns of Clinton's team showed she was worried about her debating skills. Throughout her campaign, she has struggled to overcome voters' concerns about her honesty and trustworthiness.” Not long ago, Hillary Clinton had faced a scandal over using her own personal home email server for her government work. The FBI are now investigating it because she was breaking laws with violating a federal law due to providing false information. Donald Trump wants to construct a wall along the U.S. and Mexico border. Donald Trump also wants to temporarily bar foreign Muslims from coming to the United States. Donald Trump has great plans for America. "He has really started his political activity on this racist lie," Clinton charged. “We need comprehensive immigration reform with a path to full and equal citizenship.” says Hillary Clinton. Donald Trump says he wants to build an "impenetrable, physical, tall, powerful, beautiful, southern border wall." Hillary Clinton is right about not wanting to build the wall because all citizens should have the same rights and be equal, but many immigrants have been involved in terrorist attacks. Donald Trump is wanting to build the wall on the U.S. and Mexico border to try and prevent all of these terrorist attacks from happening again. Hillary Clinton wants to take many people's guns away, but what are people supposed to use to defend themselves if Hillary Clinton takes our guns away from us. Donald Trump is trying to make the United States safer again, but he does not wanna take away our right to bear arms. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton both have some experience in politics.“The debate was heated from the start. Donald Trump frequently tried to interrupt Hillary Clinton and spoke over her answers. Hillary Clinton was more measured and restrained, but also needled the sometimes thin-skinned Trump over his business record and wealth.” In 1999, Donald Trump made his first run for president, but lost the California primary and dropped out of the race. Shortly after Barack Obama became president he had nominated Hillary Clinton as secretary of state on January 21, 2009. Donald Trump said he’ll release his tax information once Hillary Clinton releases the 30,000 emails that were deleted. Hillary Clinton wants all citizens to be equal, but Donald Trump wants to build a wall to keep out all immigrants and refugees. Hillary Clinton is wanting to take most guns away because more than 30,000 American deaths occur in a year. Donald Trump wants to just take guns away from drug dealers, gang members, and the mentally ill. We have had this 2nd Amendment for many years and has never had a problem with it, so why change it now. Donald Trump wants to keep all of the medical and social security the way it is now, but Hillary Clinton wants to reduce the cost. She wants the rich people to help with the poor. Both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton want charter schools. Donald Trump wants to completely get rid of common core, but Hillary Clinton thinks that common core organizes your education system.

Only a few U.S. cities are taxing their soda because the tax is claimed to be hurting the smaller businesses. Soda tax supporters are trying to reach out the people that don't approve of taxing sodas. San Francisco is trying to have a second try at getting enough votes for the soda tax. The Bay Area and the American Beverage Association is having a campaign battle for this and are paying millions of dollars for advertising on television. American Beverage Association is suing to prevent the 1.5-cent-per-ounce tax. Berkeley voters approved of the penny-per-ounce soda tax in 2014. A woman, Clem Howard, talks about how her mother, sister and brother-in-law all have diabetes, and they still drink pop. Howard wants to spread the word about sugary drinks and then it might help people to not buy it as much. 7.6% of whites and 13% of Africans and Latino adults have diabetes. The claim I support is taxing the soda. If we tax soda it could hurt the smaller businesses, but also not as many people would buy as much pop because it would cost more. Taxing soda may stop people from buying it as much and that can lead to not as many people having diabetes.
